Rihanna and Coldplay to perform "Princess of China" at the 2012 Grammys

It's official: Rihanna's headed to the Grammys stage again. And once again, she won't be alone.

For the 2011 Grammys, RiRi dutty whined her bawdy all over Drake for their collaboration "What's My Name?" And this year, Rihanna will hit the stage with Coldplay to perform "Princess of China," their collaboration from Coldplay's latest album Mylo Xyloto.

Rihanna broke the news on Twitter herself:

#RihannaNavy My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS

Let's hope that this means that the tragically beautiful "Princess of China" duet will be the next official single from Coldplay's album.

Rihanna announces "Talk That Talk" as next single

With her second single, "You Da One," largely swallowed up in the shadow of "We Found Love," Rihanna is ready to march on to her third single "Talk That Talk," the title track from her latest album Talk That Talk. The track features new father Jay-Z and Rihanna released the artwork for the single on Twitter last night. No word on a video shoot though.

Rihanna puts on a freak show for her man in "You Da One" video

As devotional odes go, "You Da One" by Rihanna is one of the more aggressive affirmations of allegiance in pop music. With a twinge of reggae splashed with a sprinkling of dubstep, Rihanna honors her man completely, "Baby come, tear me now, hold me now / Make me come alive / You got the sweetest touch / I'm so happy, you came in my life."

The video doesn't feature a love interest, but Rihanna is clearly putting on a one-woman performance for somebody. She covers herself in white powder, makes kissy faces in old Hollywood shades and throws a few come hither winks at the camera. Oh, it's so enticing, don't try to fight it.

Rihanna burns the midnight oil for "You Da One" video shoot

Rihanna stops for no man, woman or child. The workaholic took fans behind the scenes of her latest video, "You Da One," from her Talk That Talk album. The singer, who's been plagued with bouts of illness, exhaustion, hospitalization, and most recently a case of vomiting in the middle of her concert, pushes herself to the limit and confesses to the camera that she's filming the video "on one hour of sleep." Holy crap. Mariah Carey-from-Glitter-meltdown alarms are going off.

The behind the scenes footage shows Rihanna to be in good spirits though, even if she is tired. In one set up she goofily grins with a set of ridiculous grills in her mouth and she puckers her lips for the camera like a true Old Hollywood legend in white sunglasses in another. The blonde wig looks dusty and straw-like for the most part, but maybe it'll look more attractive in the final cut of the video, which is yet again being directed by Melina.

Sizing up the 2012 Grammys Album of the Year category

The hottest and most prized category in the Grammys each year is without a doubt, the Album of the Year category.

Many were rightfully upset that Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, one of the year's most widely praised albums, was shut out of the category. But the remaining contenders in the category are all worthy in their own way. For the most part.

Let's size up the albums that made it into the Album of the Year category. We'll take a look at the quality of the album and rate the likelihood of it taking the trophy home.

Rihanna performs "We Found Love" live on the X Factor

Rihanna is one busy beaver. The singer, who is in the midst of her European tour, flew overseas back to the US for a one-night gig on the X Factor. Donning her Americana-inspired wardrobe, Rihanna performed her hit single "We Found Love" on stage and on national TV for the first time.

Although Rihanna relied heavily on a backing track that seemed to dominate, she was full of energy as she thrashed, fist pumped and danced her heart out in front of the world. The one bit of the performance that had choreography was pure delight. More of this please, Miss RiRi.

During the interview portion though, Rihanna's face looked slightly bloated. Like she was on meds or suffering from exhaustion? Things won't get easier for the Barbadian as her sixth album is set to drop next week and she has to squeeze in whatever promo she can before then.

Preview Rihanna's Talk That Talk in snippet form

Rihanna's sixth studio album is only a few weeks away from release and now fans can get a sneak peek of what's to come. Snippets of 11 tracks from the standard version of Talk That Talk have hit the web and they present a fiery, dirty version of Rihanna.

She's sexually aggressive on "Cockiness" in a very Akinyele "Put It In Your Mouth" kind of way: "I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it when you eat it.". Ditto for her birthday cake as a metaphor for vagina on the saucy "Birthday Cake."

The snippet for "Talk That Talk" features Jay-Z and his verse is the only part featured in the snippet so it's hard to get a sense of the largeness of their collaboration. But there's a nice pop-rock ballad thrown in the mix as well. Overall, Talk That Talk is more Rated R than LOUD, but that could be a good thing.

Rihanna rehearses to a dark and gritty rendition of "G4L"

Rihanna has named her fan base after a line from her dark and grimy murder fantasy "G4L," but it's escaped both the Last Girl On Earth and LOUD tour setlists. But maybe Rihanna is gearing up to include it somehow some way in the near future?

As part of the webisode promo series for the release of her Talk That Talk album, Rihanna shared footage of herself rehearsing "G4L" with her band. The live instrumentation only heightened the deliciously dark elements of the song even more. Riri played it low key, singing the song while chillin' on the couch. But everyone else in the room couldn't help but their guns "in the muthf**kin' air."
