Bizarre has got nothing but love for Nicki Minaj

Remember that rag tag gang of black dudes that Eminem would occasionally kick it with when he was between albums? Remember Bizarre, the really obese, shower cap-wearing dude of that bunch who spewed vile rhymes that would make even Slim Shady? Remember he tried to launch a solo career?

Anyway, he's kind of sort of back, thanks to YouTube. And his heart is going a pitter patter for some that Nicki Minaj matter. It's cause her ass is so phatter. Yeah.

Throwing in a little of Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey" for good measure, Bizarre sings his praises to a faux Nicki Minaj and promises that he'll lick all of the icing on her birthday cake. And he got a Middle Eastern-lookin' dude to play Drake. Does the potent humor of this make you miss D12 at all?

Nicki Minaj readies new music for Valentine's Day

Baby spoke on readying new Nicki Minaj music in an interview with Billboard, citing early 2012 as the time frame, and now Nicki has taken to Twitter and confirmed the good news herself: She's releasing an album entitled Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED.

Now is that a rerelease of her debut album Pink Friday or a full-fledged sequel? It's not really clear either way. Given her newfound status as an A-lister, it seems odd to drop a new album in February, when labels usually put out albums from their heavy hitters in the summer or the fourth quarter. So maybe that points more to a rerelease?

Whatever the case may be, the prominence of the Roman alter ego is a good, in that it hopefully means Nicki will be doing more rapping and less singing on her next musical outing.

Big Sean and Nicki Minaj bend it but don't break it in "Dance (A$$)" video

In West Philadelphia born and raised....Big Sean channels a little Big Willy Style in the video for his latest single, the moneymaker, rumpshaker "Dance (A$$)". And in a smart move, Big Sean upped the ante and got the biggest, hottest ass in the game to do a feature: Nicki Minaj.

Nicki pulled out all the stops for the video, bouncing, shaking and gyrating her controversial ass. Fake or not, Nicki was shakin' it like a salt shaker.

The masticated review of Drake's "Make Me Proud"

Here's another duo who'd made for an interesting Watch The Throne-style pairing: Drake and Nicki Minaj. They swerve from a collegial brother and sister relationship to a (mostly one-sided) fairytale love story. Drake's pretty much ice water while Nicki's a spicy Cajun jumbo, but opposites attract and their talents complement each other.

The duo have appeared on each other's debut albums ("Moment 4 Life" on Nicki's and "Up All Night" on Drake's) and it looks like the tradition is continuing with "Make Me Proud," the latest single from Drake's sophomore album, Take Care. The song, Drake said, is meant to be a feel-good anthem for women in the same vein as his breakthrough single, "Best Thing I Ever Had." But really, it feels more like a love letter to Nicki Minaj. And Nicki doesn't really thank him for it on the record, she just proceeds to write, sign and deliver her own love letter to herself.

Poor Drake. He's the Charlie Brown of hip hop. Will he ever get to kick the ball?

Drake does SNL, rocks out with Nicki Minaj

Drake is actually a multihyphenate, in case you people forgot. And no, we're not talking about his being a singer-rapper. Remember, he's also an actor! All that time spent on Degrassi wasn't for naught. He's done some pretty solid comedy bits, like the Twitter parody song he cooked up with Jimmy Kimmel last year. So it seems like he'd be perfectly poised to smash on SNL, right?

Well, unfortunately, the Drakester wasn't given much material worth fussing over. Nicki got better bits when she did SNL last year. The most "ha ha" moment of Drake's appearances on the show was when he appeared as a teen werewolf and spit a song about bag snatchin'. He even did a one-legged air hump during the sketch, which is a record for him as far as choreography goes.

The performances were also just so-so. Live performing has never been Drake's strong suit and he didn't wow too much on SNL despite his promises that his set would be "incredible." By that, we can only imagine he's talking about the wall of video behind him which was used to display big words during "Headlines." Uh, woo hoo?

Drake called on his sometime-love interest and YMCMB partner-in-crime, Nicki Minaj, for his new joint "Make Me Proud." The friendly chemistry between these two and their big names make any collaboration between them an event, and the record actually sounded pretty good live. The only drawback was an abuse of backing track vocals. Nicki struggled to be heard above them and Drake used them as crutch for the chorus, which he often does on the "singing" parts he should be doing live.

Nicki Minaj makes little girl's dreams come true

Nicki Minaj's music isn't really all that kid-friendly, but that hasn't stopped little Sophia Grace Brownlee from being the biggest Barb she can be. The 8-year-old from the UK gained overnight fame for her impressive impersonation of Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" and Ellen, being the YouTube queen, invited the little girl and her sidekick on to perform on the show. Little did they know, they'd also get to meet the Head Barb, Ms. Nicki Minaj.

Watching Sophia's absolute delight over meeting her idol is heart-warming. It immediately brought tears to her father's eyes. Sophia leapt onto Nicki Minaj as soon as she appeared and hugged her like was the one and only messiah. Nicki was gracious, kind and completely engaged with the two girls. Say what you want about Nicki and her colorful wigs, but she's got a wonderful heart.

Willow Smiths spits hot fire with Nicki Minaj on "Fireball"

She's back! The little 9-year-old who set the pop world on fire with "Whip My Hair" last year has recharged her batteries and is back with another club banger.

Yes, club banger. It doesn't matter that she's way underage and can't get even get into a PG-13 movie by herself. Willow can set it off in the club, ya heard? At least that's what she's selling on her aggressive new single, "Fireball."

The song is decidedly more urban than her last offering, the "21st Century Girl," which is a wise move on Team Willow's part. "Whip My Hair" took off because it so unexpected to hear such a raw urban record from a pre-teen. But that faux rock/pop crap? Disney's had that market cornered for ages.

And Willow didn't strike back by her lonesome. She got one of the most-wanted MCs in the game, Nicki Minaj, to spit a little something on her track. The surprise? It's one of Nicki's best verses in a while. She scores extra geek points for her Street Fighter references too. Call her verse the Five-Hundred Hand Slap.

"I'm the street fighter, call me Chun-Li / And it's going down, like a bum knee / Built a guest house, to put the coupe in / Cause I'm a fireball, HADOUKEN!," Nicki spits.
