Consequence hits out at Pusha T in G.O.O.D. Music friendly fire

Last week Pusha T dropped the latest track "My God" from his forthcoming Fear Of God mixtape. Just as the song was picking up positive buzz from the internet, along came some mudslinging. Consequence took to Twitter and dropped a sub-tweet faster than a teenage girl does to her ex-boyfriend right after a bitter break-up.

The initial tweets left many confused as to what Consequence was even getting at. When Pusha T spoke to Complex, he seemed to be completely unaware of what it was that ruffled Consequence's feathers. Finally, Consequence decided to put out a video response through KarmaloopTV.

Lil' Kim blasts Nicki Minaj as an imitator in "Black Friday" video

The newly self-appointed Queen of Paypal has finally given birth to the long-gestating video for her "Black Friday" diss track that she released way back in November of last year. In that time, Nicki Minaj's album has gone platinum, she's flown overseas to the UK for a pandemonium-inducing visit and made the rounds at all the awards shows that Kim hasn't been invited to. Hopefully this music video helps Kim sleep better at night, cause it doesn't seem to be doing much for her stock in the music industry.

Lil' Kim vs. Nicki Minaj: Kim tries out "Did It On 'Em"

The one-sided Lil' Kim vs. Nicki Minaj beef goes on. Lil' Kim leaked a snippet of a track from her long-delayed Black Friday mixtape. On the track which she dubs "Warning," Kim spits over Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday track "Did It On 'Em," borrowing the Young Money diva's mojo in a bid to rejuvenate her ailing career.

"All these bitches is my pets, I keep a tight leash around they necks, bitches try to bite, take they ass to the vet, put 'em right to sleep like they pop xanax," Kim spits.

As usual, Kim's delivery is lacking and her appropriation of Nicki's song just confirms how thirsty and desperate Kim is to attach herself to Nicki and her platinum-selling movement in any way, shape or form. Maybe Kim should take her own advice, "Get your own shit, why you ridin' mine?"

Simon Cowell pans Christina's Super Bowl performance, dismisses Steven Tyler

Oh, Simon. How we've missed you! The snappy Briton known for taking the wind out of many an Idol contestant's sails, Simon Cowell was not merciful when it came to weighing in on pop star Christina Aguilera's much maligned performance of the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

In an interview with Fox News Insider, Simon, with his boldly unmanscaped chest hair showing in his plunging neckline, was asked about his thoughts on Christina's lyrical flub heard round the world. In short: Not good.

Simon: I just heard it then and it sounded like a 100,000 people in the stadium just sat on a cat....I'm listening to it here in London and it didn't sound great to me. Not great.

Another artist on the receiving end of Simon's bristling words? Newly-minted American Idol judge Steven Tyler, who criticized Simon for dismissing country music as a genre. Simon pointed to his support of Carrie Underwood as evidence that he wasn't biased and he bluntly stated that he believed Steven was being told to say these sorts of negative things against him.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy more than mad at the Kings of Leon

Ryan Murphy is not happy with Kings of Leon, and he's not holding one ounce of his red hot fury back.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the creator of the hit television Glee expressed how angry he is at Kings of Leon for not allowing the show to use their music, putting it as simply as "F*** you, Kings of Leon." He went on to get more specific:

“They’re self-centered assholes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It’s like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music.”

Kanye West's light-hearted tweet about Britney blows up in his face

In case you hadn't heard, Kanye West tweeted something, and people were offended. Surprising? Not really, until you hear what exactly they're pissed about.

The tweet reads: "Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL"

Just to be clear, the rapper was poking fun at his interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech oh so long go. Even if you didn't actually witness the event yourself, there's a good chance you saw signs or heard people using the quote after the fact. Apparently, the only person not allowed to use the joke is the guy who said it in the first place.

Britney Spears fans, Taylor Swift fans, the media, everyone jumped on the Kanye tweet. In fact, Britney Spears's manager Adam Leber upped the ante by replying to West's tweet with a sarcastic response saying, "Thanks for "letting" us be #1. Much appreciated.... -Adam Leber, Manager."

Lil' Kim vs. Nicki Minaj: Did "Clap Clap" and "Black Friday" even make a dent?

It's the rap beef that's the hottest in the streets, but is Lil' Kim really going places with it? This week, the Queen Bee dropped two tracks, "Clap Clap" and a freestyle over Lil' Wayne track "6 Foot 7 Foot." So far, the reception to Kim's tracks hasn't been very kind on the rap blogs. To be fair, rap bloggers are a notoriously tough crowd to please.

Sure, the beef has gotten Kim a lot more attention, but is her increased recognition really just a small nut rattling around in an empty tin can?

It features her new flunkies IRS (International Rap Stars) and well...if this is what Kim thinks is gonna put her back on the map, she forgot to check the expiration date, cause this sucker's spoiled rotten.
