Silly us. We thought the Talk That Talk was over. But Rihanna, apparently, thinks there's more steam left in that choo-choo train.
So she's trotting out a cut and paste remix of her Bangladesh-produced track, "Cockiness" with A$AP Rocky thrown on it for no good reason.
Part of the whole appeal of "Cockiness" is that Rihanna, as a woman, is flipping the sexuality of the cockiness by asserting her womanhood with the male phallus. It's what Nicki Minaj has been doing so effectively for the past few years. In fact, Nicki, not A$AP, would've been perfect for the track, if she was looking for a collaborator.
Alas, we're stuck with this. Oh well, hopefully she gets a decent budget for an interesting video or something. And hey, it could've been worse. Rihanna could've thrown Chris Brown on the track just like she did before, which ruined "Birthday Cake."
