If you thought you knew Kimbra's sound, you'll have to think again. The New Zealand-born singer was Stateside for the SXSW festival underway now in Austin, Texas, and she unveiled a new tune called "Come Into My Head."
The song's funk-punk stylings are a departure from the more R&B-pop, alternative pop and electronica-pop sounds that we heard from Kimbra on tracks like "Settle Down," "Cameo Lover" and her collaboration with Gotye, "Somebody That I Used to Know."
But don't let looks fool you, tiny Kimbra rocks out in her pink dress like she's the baddest rock star on the planet. The song is set to be included in the U.S. release of her debut album Vows.
